This is not a promise of a staffed 24/7 shop. You request emergency service. Same-day work is the standard goal during normal hours. Evenings, nights, and Sundays are scheduled when a technician can take the call. If we cannot arrive the same night, we will say so and give the next window.
What to do while you wait
